First Photo:
This is a bar of soap. It's encased in wool. Sprayed with a mist of water. My camera is fully zoomed in. There is a small line, from left to right, that is in focus. I like that skinny little line. That Fine Line of Focus. (Feel free to click on the first photo - it will take you to a larger photo.)
Second Photo:
This is the same photo as above, zoomed in as far as possible, AFTER the photo was taken. I love the way there appears to be another world that the naked eye looks right past... so minute that we don't know to look for it. This photo looks almost like a landscape, perhaps in a fairytale world.
This makes me wonder just HOW MUCH we cannot see. Every day. Every minute. Every second.
I'm willing to bet that it's exponentially greater than what we are able to see.
And that makes me smile.
